SUBJECT: AUTHORIZE BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF:
A. $3,290 TO RECOGNIZE RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF PACIFIC
LIBRARY PARTNERSHIP GRANT FUNDS, AND
B. $3,925 TO RECOGNIZE RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE CALIFORNIA STATE
LIBRARY GRANT FUNDS
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize budget adjustments in the amount of:
A. $3,290 to recognize receipt and expenditure of Pacific Library Partnership CLSA grant
funds, and
B. $3,925 to recognize receipt and expenditure of California State Library Grant Funds.
BACKGROUND:
The Library has been successful in obtaining a $3,290 grant administered by the Pacific Library
Partnership for the enhancement of the Library’s CloudLibrary e-book platform. The funds
from this grant will be used to purchase digital audio books and e-books which will be shared
across CloudLibrary consortia users.
The Library has also been successful in obtaining a $3,925 grant administered by the California
State Library to host arts related programming for adults and seniors. The funds from this grant
will be used to pay for contract instructors and purchase progr am supplies.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Expenditures in the amount of $3,290 and $3,925 will be reimbursed by the grant revenue.
