SUBJECT: AUTHORIZE REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE BUDGET ADJUSTMENTS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $6,000 TO RECOGNIZE RECEIPT AND EXPENDITURE OF NORTHNET
LIBRARY SYSTEM GRANT FUNDS
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize revenue and expenditure budget adjustments in the amount of $6,000 to recognize
receipt and expenditure of NorthNet Library System grant funds.
BACKGROUND:
The Library has been successful in obtaining a $6,000 grant administered by the NorthNet
Library System to continue the Library’s Zipbooks pilot program. The funds from this grant will
be used to purchase book and audiobook titles selected by the public for the Library’s
collection.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Expenditures in the amount of $6,000 will be offset by grant revenue of an equal amount. The
grant will be recorded to the FY2018-19 fiscal year, and any balance unspent as of June30, 2019
will be expended during FY 2019/20 as the grant will overlap fiscal years.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT:
This is not a project defined under CEQA, and no further action is required.
