SERVICE AREA PURSUANT TO SECTIONS 56757 AND 56375.3 OF THE
CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
REMARKS:
A Council Member had the following inquiry and a response is provided below.
How will our Pavement Condition Index (PCI) be affected by annexation of the urban island
streets?
The Town has not obtained the pavement condition data from the County for the sections of
roadway under consideration for annexation. However, similar to the Almond Grove
neighborhood, it is anticipated that the addition of County streets will not impact the Town’s
PCI because there are a limited number of streets being annexed and because residential
streets have less weight in the StreetSaver program.
