M10-26-09 Study Session 1 MINUTES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL/PARKING AUTHORITY/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING OCTOBER 26, 2009 The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Special Meeting on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 6:00 P.M. CLOSED SESSION BEGAN AT 5:15 P.M. TOWN COUNCIL/PARKING AUTHORITY/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING CALLED TO ORDER ROLL CALL Present: Mayor Mike Wasserman, Vice Mayor Diane McNutt, Council Member Joe Pirzynski, Council Member Steve Rice, and Council Member Barbara Spector. Absent: None. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Mike Wasserman led the Pledge of Allegiance. The audience was invited to participate. Manager Matters There were no Manager Matters scheduled for this meeting. 2 CONSENT ITEMS - TOWN COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY 1. PPW Job No. 07-16 Parking Lot 6 Reconstruction 411-817-0702 a. Adopt resolution declaring Galeb Paving, Inc., to be the lowest responsible bidder on the project and award a construction contract in an amount not to exceed $291,665 RESOLUTION 2009- b. Authorize staff to execute future change orders to the construction contract as necessary in an amount not to exceed $30,000 c. Authorize reserve allocation in the amount of $206,500 from the Parking Reserve to 411-817-0702 for Parking Lot 6 d. Authorizer budget adjustment in the amount of $206,500 to 411-817- 0702 MOTION: Motion by Council Member Steve Rice to approve Consent Item #1.
