TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council/Parking Authority/Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos met in
the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September
18, 2003, in special regular session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Steve Glickman, Diane McNutt, Joe Pirzynski
Mike Wasserman, and Mayor/Chairman Decker
Absent:None.
STATUS REPORT ON SILICON VALLEY ANIMAL CONTROL JOINT POWER AUTHORITY
Mayor Decker noted that staff would present an update on the activities associated with forming
the JPA. The presentation spoke of the managers of the participating cities discussing the
ramifications of the many different actions that might be taken by the cities still remaining in the
organization. The effectiveness of the authority and its comparative costs was compared to other
cities offering to contract with our town. Staff will continue with its inquiries in finding suitable
and economic means to deal with our animal control issues.

Mayor Decker adjourned this evening's meeting at 6:35 p.m.
