REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The Redevelopment Agency/Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers of
the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:32 p.m., Monday, February 1, 1999, in joint regular
session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Linda Lubeck,
Joe Pirzynski and Chairman/Mayor Jan Hutchins.
Absent:None.
RATIFICATION OF PAYROLL/DECEMBER-JANUARY 1999 (01.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that the Agency ratify the check register for the
payroll of December 27 through January 9, 1999 paid on January 15, 1999. The gross amount of this
payroll is $814.33. Carried unanimously.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RATIFICATION/JANUARY 1999 (02.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that the Agency ratify the accommpanying check
registers for accounts payable invoices of January 15, and January 22, 1999 in the amount of
$67,466.53. Carried unanimously.
MINUTES OF JANUARY 19, 1999 (03.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that the Agency approve the Minutes of January
19, 1999 as submitted. Carried unanimously.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPERS/LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION/CD-LDC (04.49)
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FUNDING AGREEMENT/RESOLUTION 1999-1RD
Motion by Mrs. Lubeck, seconded by Mr. Blanton, that Redevelopment Agency adopt Resolution
1999-1RD entitled, RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE TOWN
OF LOS GATOS AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A
FUNDING AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY DEVELOPERS - LOCAL DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION (CD-LDC) AND TO EXECUTE RELATED DOCUMENTS AS REQUIRED.
Carried by a vote of 3 ayes. Mr. Attaway and Mr. Pirzynski voted no due to the fact that an appeal on
this project will be before Council in two weeks, and all aspects of this proposal can be heard and
discussed by the public at that time.
ADJOURNMENT
Chairman Hutchins journed this evening's meeting at 8:30 p.m.

Joe - the appeal comes before council in two weeks. the funding and appeal should be heard together--a
positive decision tonight would imply that the pc decision has been overturned
linda - funding agreement not arch and site - no funds dispursed until all approvals have been met -
conditional use permit process/variance application/zoning change on land strip/arch and site during the
hearing in 2 weeks/
jan - can return for discussion in 2 weeks - do not cause these people more problems by not moving on this
item now
steve - funds tonight passed - but not released until final approvals are met

attaway - give time for public comment before passing this - ask if anyone would like to speak -
me - make sure i include speakers*******
joe - in favor of the very best project possible--funding sources falling out if there is no movement tonight
to indicate funding source availability--more tenuous project than he had supposed--not moving on fast
track if the project does not have ability to become a very good project for those who are going to use that
project--not arguing the need for affordable housing in community but is this the best project in this best
place at this time--
randy--no on process not on project--decision on funding in advaance does not look good to the public in
his mind--

randy on the record----might not recover any funds--in the worst case senerio the town may not recover--
must show there are safe guards in place to put such a statement in a public document.
