REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The Redevelopment Agency/Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers of
the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:32 p.m., Monday, May 17, 1999, in joint regular session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Linda Lubeck,
Joe Pirzynski and Chairman/Mayor Jan Hutchins (left the meeting at 12:15 p.m.)
Absent:None.
RATIFICATION OF PAYROLL/APRIL-MAY 1999 (01.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that the Agency ratify the check register for the
payroll of April 18 through May 1, 1999 paid on May 7, 1999. The gross amount of this payroll is
$2,177.85. Carried unanimously.
MINUTES OF MAY 3, 1999 (02A.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that the Agency approve the Minutes of May 3,
1999 as submitted. Carried unanimously.
MINUTES OF MAY 10, 1999 JOINT STUDY SESSION (02B.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that the Agency approve the Joint Town Council-
Redevelopment Agency Study Session Minutes of May 10, 1999 as submitted. Carried unanimously.
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM/RESOLUTION (03.06)
Mrs. Lubeck asked that the proposed $500,000 to be generated from the business community for
funding the parking structure be moved to another year, and that the design components of the parking
garages be paid for with Town funds for this year so that preliminary work on the lots can proceed
smoothly, and so that the budget will be fully funded for this year.
She would also like more information on the following: In the 1999-2000 year we are adding to
Business Services, from $55,000 in the 98-99 year to $315,000 in 99-2000 year, and Administration is
going from $64,000 in 98-99 to $230,000 in 99-2000 and adding Redevelopment Project Coordinator
and a Parking Lot Project Engineer July 1, 1999.
Motion by Mr. Pirzynski, seconded by Mrs. Lubeck, to continue this item to June 7, 1999 so these
issues can be addressed. Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Hutchins absent.

Motion by Mr. Pirzynski, seconded by Mr. Attaway, to adjourn tonight's meeting at 1:05 a.m.
