TOWN COUNCIL/PARKING AUTHORITY
The Town Council/Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council
Chambers of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 6:05 P.M., Monday, March
29, 1999, in study session.
ATTENDANCE
Present:Councilmembers: Randy Attaway, Steve Blanton, Linda Lubeck,
Joe Pirzynski; Town Manager David Knapp; Attorney Orry Korb;
Planning Director Lee Bowman; Director of Public Works Scott
Baker;
Jack Heinemann of Federal Realty and Lee Schwager architect for
Federal Realty.
50 UNIVERSITY AVENUE/ARCHITECTURE & SITE APPLICATION
MODIFICATIONS
Discussion was held on the proposed changes to the approved Architecture &
Site Application. Property Location: 50 University Avenue (new building).
Project Application PRJ-99-001. Property Owner/Applicant: SRI Old Town LLC.

Mr. Knapp gave an overview of the project and pointed out the discrepancies
between the approved plans and the actual construction. He introduced Jack
Heinemann of Federal Realty who addressed the concerns regarding the
treatments of the facades and the modifications his company proposes to make
with Council approval after public meeting. He next introduced Lee Schwager,
architect, who addressed the retaining wall at Lot 6 and explained how
modifications could produce a more pedestrian friendly approach from Lot 6, Elm
Street and the walkways surrounding the project. The report from Federal Realty
will be available this week to include in the Council packet for the April 5th
meeting.
