TOWN COUNCIL/PARKING AUTHORITY
The Town Council/Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Main Street Opera House
in Downtown Los Gatos, at 9:00 A.M., Saturday, October 10, 1998, in study session.
ATTENDANCE
Present:Mayor Linda Lubeck; Councilmembers: Randy Attaway, Joanne Benjamin, Jan
Hutchins; Planning Commissioners: Sandy Decker, Len Pacheco and Joe Pirzynski; Town
Manager David Knapp; Town Planner Sandy Baily; Public Works Director Scott Baker.
DISCUSSION
Nick Watry, of the Watry Design Group, opened the meeting and outlined the activities and goals of
the session:
1) Site Sensitization - A walking tour and reconnaissance of Lots 2 and 13.
2) Technical Data Input - Town Staff provide historic information. The Watry
group and sub-consultant provided data on pertinent issues.
3) Collaborative Design and Discussion - The audience formed small groups to
work on design issues for both lots.
4) Consensus - Each group made a brief presentation on their findings and
recommendations. The outcome lead to consensus recommendations which will
be presented in a report to the Town Council.

The meeting adjourned at 1:35 P.M.
