REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
The Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers of
Town Hall, 110 E. Main St., at 9:59 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 1997, in regular session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Jan Hutchins,
Linda Lubeck and Chairman Joanne Benjamin.
Absent:None.
ACCOUNTS PAYABLE/RATIFICATION/JANUARY 1997 (01.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mrs. Lubeck, that the Agency ratify the
accompanying check register for accounts payable invoices paid on January 3rd and
January 10th, 1997, in the amount of $2,566.00. Carried unanimously.
PAYROLL RATIFICATION/DECEMBER 1996 (02.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mrs. Lubeck, that the Agency ratify the check
register in the amount of $5,870.07 for the payroll of December 15 through December 28,
1996 paid on January 3, 1997. Carried unanimously.
MINUTES OF JANUARY 6, 1997 (03.V)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mrs. Lubeck, that the Minutes of January 6, 1997,
be approved as submitted. Carried unanimously.
DOWNTOWN PARKING/OLD TOWN PARKING LOT/RESOLUTION 1997-R1 (04.49)
Council Comments: Redevelopment money should remain to finance reconstruction of the
downtown infrastructure; Financing for downtown parking can be done through the
Redevelopment Agency by selling bonds; Bonding can be paid for from a specific revenue
source such as paid parking in the lot; The agreement is to negotiate for a specific period
of time and to return to Council for a report on the negotiations.
Motion by Mrs. Lubeck, seconded by Mr. Hutchins, that the Agency adopt Resolution
1997-R1 entitled, RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE TOWN
OF LOS GATOS APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH OLD TOWN LLC TO
NEGOTIATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN PROPERTY

WITHIN THE CENTRAL LOS GATOS REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. Carried
unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Hutchins, that the Agency adjourn this
evening's meeting at 10:10 p.m. Carried unanimously.
