TOWN COUNCIL/STUDY SESSION
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, 110 East
Main Street, at 8:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 1997, in study session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Jan Hutchins,
Linda Lubeck, and Mayor Joanne Benjamin.
Others:Town Manager Dave Knapp, Department Heads, members of the public.
COUNCIL UPDATES
Town Manager, Dave Knapp, gave a report on Town's economic development and updates on training.
COMMITTEES, BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS:
The following Committees, Boards and Commissions met with Council and reviewed their goals and
objectives for the year. Council heard the reports and expressed their opinions and perceptions of the
committees' purposes.
1.)Library Board 8:35 a.m.
2.)Parks commission 8:50 a.m.
3.)Trails and Bikeways Committee 9:05 a.m.
4.)Parking Commission 9:20 a.m.
5.)Arts Commission 10:00 a.m.
6.)Community Services Commission 10:15 a.m.
7.)Redevelopment Advisory Committee 10:30 a.m.
8.)Historic Preservation Committee 10;45 a.m.
9.)Planning Commission 11:00 a.m.
SUMMARY
Following a short lunch in the Chambers, the Council and Manager summarized the sentiments
expressed during this meeting.
