TOWN COUNCIL/REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY STUDY SESSION
The Town Council/Redevelopment Agency of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council
Chambers of Town Hall, 110 E. Main St., at 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, 1997, in study
session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Jan Hutchins
Linda Lubeck, and Mayor/Chairman Joanne Benjamin.
Others:Town Manager Dave Knapp, Finance Director Michele Braucht
STUDY SESSION:
CONSIDERATIONS FOR THE 1997-2002 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
Council considered the Draft Capital Improvement Program for 1997-2002 and discussed
the following items:
1)Pedestrian and bicycle access to Los Gatos Creek Trail at Highway 9.
2)Project justification and line item detail requested for Street Maintenance; Traffic;
Pavement; Sidewalks; Quito Bridge; Traffic Striping; Road Repair; Congestion
Management; and Fixed Asset Purchases.
3)Nino-Los Gatos Blvd. signal moved forward to be completed in 97-98.
4)Traffic signals at Main/Pleasant, & Los Gatos Blvd/Loma Alta were unfunded.
5)Billy Jones Railroad moved from CIP to Community Grants.
6)Emergency Operations Center to be funded from the Public Facilities Program.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Benjamin adjourned the meeting at 8:25 p.m.
