TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council/Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers
of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:33 p.m., Monday, October 11, 1993, in regular
session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Steven Blanton, Linda Lubeck,
Patrick O'Laughlin (arrived at 7:35) and Mayor Benjamin.
Absent:None.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Given by all in attendance.
AFSCME/LOCAL 101/MOU/RESOLUTION 1993-145 (01.10)
Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that Council adopt Resolution 1993-
145 entitled, RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS APPROVING
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AND
AFSCME LOCAL 101. Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. O'Laughlin absent.
COMPUTER SYSTEMS/POLICE DEPARTMENT/OCS TECH/RESOLUTION 1993-146 (02.28)
Motion by Mr. Attaway, seconded by Mr. O'Laughlin, that Council adopt Resolution 1993-
146 entitled, RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AUTHORIZING THE TOWN
MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH OCS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. AND
PURCHASE HARDWARE AND SYSTEM SOFTWARE COMPONENTS FROM HEWLETT
PACKARD, WOLFE COMPUTER, AND SILTON-BOOKMAN SYSTEMS FOR THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT COMPUTER SYSTEMS, which includes the budget transfers reflected in the
staff report. Carried unanimously.
COUNCIL REPORTS
Mayor Benjamin reported on the League of California Cities. Mrs. Benjamin is the Town's
voting representative and Mrs. Lubeck the alternate, and the Mayor requested input from
Council as to how they would vote so they could be properly represented at the convention.
Mrs. Benjamin asked Council if they would like to tour Route 85 as guests of the Traffic

Authority. This will be a public tour to be held October 25, 1993.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Mr. Attaway, seconded by Mr. Blanton, that Council adjourn this evening's
meeting at 7:51 p.m. to an adjourned regular meeting to be held October 25, 1993, at 5:00
p.m., for the purpose of taking a tour of Route 85. Carried unanimously.
