TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council/Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers
of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:30 p.m., Monday, November 25, 1991, in
adjourned regular session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Joanne Benjamin, Steven Blanton,
and Mayor Eric D. Carlson.
Absent:Brent N. Ventura.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Given by all in attendance.
EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE/RESTORATION PROGRAM/ORDINANCE 1881
Motion by Mrs. Benjamin, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that Council adopt Ordinance 1881
entitled, ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS REESTABLISHING THE LOS
GATOS RESTORATION PROGRAM FOR THE REPAIR, RESTORATION AND
RECONSTRUCTION OF STRUCTURES DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF THE OCTOBER 17,
1989 EARTHQUAKE, which was introduced at the Council meeting of November 18, 1991.
Carried by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Ventura absent.
REDEVELOPMENT/CENTRAL LOS GATOS PROJECT/ORDINANCE 1882
Motion by Mrs. Benjamin, seconded by Mr. Attaway, that Council adopt Ordinance 1882
entitled, ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS APPROVING AND ADOPTING
THE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE CENTRAL LOS GATOS REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT, which was introduced at the Council meeting of November 18, 1991. Carried
by a vote of 4 ayes. Mr. Ventura absent.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
Jo Bartlett, 166 Oak Hill, spoke in opposition to the possibility of the Town withdrawing
from the Central Fire District and operating its own fire department.

Motion by Mr. Blanton, seconded by Mr. Attaway, to adjourn this evening's meeting at
