TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council/Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers
of the Town Hall, 110 East Main Street, at 7:35 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 1991, in
adjourned regular session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Randy Attaway, Joanne Benjamin, Steven Blanton,
Eric D. Carlson and Mayor Brent N. Ventura.
Absent:None
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Given by all in attendance.
MID-PENINSULA HOUSING COALITION/WEST VALLEY OPEN DOORS
Kate Anderton, Town Attorney, stated that the underlaying petition for litigation for writ of
mandate on this matter was heard by Judge Leahy. He announced that rather than a ruling
on motion for a bond, as referenced in the staff report, he would make a decision on the
merits of the case itself. The petition was denied, so at this point there is no pending
litigation, and there's virtually minimal risk remaining in relation to dispersement of funds for
this project.
Informational report to Council regarding the release of funds to Mid-Peninsula Housing
Coalition for purchase of the West Parr site for construction of affordable housing was
received and filed.
ADJOURNMENT
Motion by consensus that Council close this portion of the evening's meeting at 7:37 p.m.
and reconvene for a joint meeting with the Redevelopment Agency immediately following.
