TOWN COUNCIL
The Town Council/Parking Authority of the Town of Los Gatos met in the Council Chambers
of the Town Hall, 100 East Main Street, at 7:10 p.m., Monday, June 11,1990, in special
session.
ROLL CALL
Present:Joanne Benjamin, Eric D. Carlson (arrived at 7:18 p.m.), Robert L. Hamilton,
Brent N. Ventura and Mayor Thomas J. Ferrito.
Absent:None.
VERBAL COMMUNICATION
Thurston Awalt, 16469 W. Mozart Ave., asked for information regarding the access route
for the Oka-Mozart area. He was informed that the latest information from the Traffic
Authority would be available for comment toward the end of July.
WILDER AVE 146/DEMOLITION REQUEST/EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE/HEARING
Mayor Ferrito announced that this was the time to review a request for approval of plans to
demolish an historic single family residence which was significantly damaged by the
earthquake. Property located in the R-1D-LHP Zone. Property Owner: Joan Prsha.
Motion by Mr. Ventura, seconded by Mr. carlson, that Council approve Architecture and
Site Application ES-90-58 as recommended by the Earthquake Demolition Committee
making the findings as required by Section 3.65.025 and 3.65.040 of the Zoning Ordinance
for the demolition of an historic structure and the granting of a Demolition Permit.
Notification be made to potential purchasers of the property that there are Almond Grove
restrictions and restrictions imposed by the Town as a result of the earthquake. Information
from paragraphs "a" and "b" from the top of page 2 of the staff report will be recorded on the
Title for the property. Carried unanimously.
