CONSIDER AN APPEAL OF A PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION DENYING A
REQUEST TO CONSTRUCT A SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE ON PROPERTY
ZONED R-1:8. APN’S 529-23-015 AND 529-23-016.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that this item be continued to September 5, 2017.
REMARKS:
At the June 6, 2017 Town Council meeting, the Council continued the item to the August 15,
2017 Council meeting at the request of the applicant. In July, it appeared that the August 15
agenda would be lengthy and staff asked the applicant if he would be willing to have the item
continued to the September 5, 2017 Council meeting. Communication from the applicant
agreeing to the request is included in Attachment 28. Noticing deadlines had passed once the
actual August 15 agenda became more certain. Attachment 29 includes public comment
received between 11:01 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 and 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017.
