CONSIDER AN APPEAL OF A PLANNING COMMISSION DECISION DENYING A REQUEST TO CONSTRUCT A SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENCE ON PROPERTY ZONED R-1:8. APN’S 529-23-015 AND 529-23-016. REMARKS: On May 31, 2017, the applicant provided a Tree Canopy Study that illustrates the constraints created by three existing trees (Tree 1, 2, and 3) and their recommended tree protection zones (Attachment 22); and a Supplemental Geotechnical Information letter from their consultant stating that the removal of trees from the slopes on this site would not act to destabilize the slope and may result in increasing the overall slope stability (Attachment 23). Peer review of this letter by the Town’s geotechnical consultant is currently being done and will be forwarded to the Council under a separate cover on Monday, June 5, 2017.
