The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Special Meeting on Tuesday, March 7,
2017, to hold a Study Session at 6:00 p.m.
STUDY SESSION CALLED TO ORDER AT 6:00 P.M.

Present: Mayor Marico Sayoc, Vice Mayor Rob Rennie, Council Member Marcia Jensen, Council
Member Steve Leonardis, Council Member Barbara Spector.
Absent: None

Pending Legislation - Seth Miller, League of California Cities
Council discussed the matter.
VERBAL COMMUNICATIONS
Jak Van Nada
- Read a letter from Terry Duryea asking the Town Council to explore with the Seth Miller the
possibility of the League filing a friend of a court brief when the California Supreme Court
addresses the appellate court rulings that “state lawmakers may alter retirement benefits
for current employees.”
Jeff Loughridge
- Commented on affordable housing, Regional Housing Needs Assessment (RHNA), and the
need to educate the residents.
