STUDY SESSION OF FEBRUARY 28, 2017
The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos conducted a Special Meeting on Tuesday, February
28, 2017, to hold a Joint Study Session with the Planning Commission at 7:00 p.m.
STUDY SESSION CALLED TO ORDER AT 7:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Council Members Present: Mayor Marico Sayoc, Vice Mayor Rob Rennie, Council Member
Marcia Jensen, Council Member Steve Leonardis, Council Member Barbara Spector.
Absent: None
Planning Commissioners Present: Chair Thomas O’Donnell, Vice Chair D. Michael Kane,
Commissioner Mary Badame, Commissioner Kendra Burch, Commissioner Melanie Hanssen,
Commissioner Matthew Hudes, Commissioner Kathryn Janoff.
Absent: None.
I. WELCOME AND SESSION PREVIEW
Mayor Sayoc provided an overview of the meeting and introduced Dr. Shawn Spano, Facilitator
for the meeting.
Dr. Spano outlined the process and goals for the meeting.
II. ROLES, RELATIONSHIPS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Town Council and Planning Commission Working Session
Recess at 8:29 p.m.
Reconvened at 8:37 p.m.
III. DOWNTOWN TRENDS AND POTENTIAL CHANGES TO TOWN LAND USE POLICIES
Monica Renn, Economic Vitality Manager, presented the report.
