SUBJECT: HILLSIDE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND GUIDELINES MODIFICATIONS.

ADOPT A RESOLUTION TO AMEND CHAPTER II. (CONSTRAINTS ANALYSIS
AND SITE SELECTION) OF THE HILLSIDE DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS AND
GUIDELINES REGARDING VISIBILITY.
REMARKS:
On December 5, 2017, the Town Council continued the proposed amendments regarding the
visibility analysis to December 19, 2017. Due to public comments from members of the
community, the Council requested that the amendments be added to the December 14, 2017
Policy Committee agenda to allow for an additional opportunity for public input . Following the
December 5, 2017, Town Council meeting, staff notified the interested members of the public
who spoke during the Town Council hearing of the upcoming time and date for the Town
Council Policy Committee meeting.
On December 14, 2017, the Policy Committee considered input from members of the public
regarding the proposed amendments to the visibility analysis. After input and discussion from
members of the public, additional modifications to the proposed visibility analysis were
recommended by the Committee. A revised visibility analysis incorporating the modifications
as recommended by the Committee are included in Attachment 15. Previously recommended
changes are provided in bold underlined font and all deletions are shown with strikethrough
font. Additional changes recommended by the Committee are provided in red bold underlined
font.
