Subject: SUPPORT YES VOTE on 401 Alberto
Ladies and gentlemen of the Town Council,
I have watched with interest the typical delays and nimby advocacy that has plagued this outstanding project.
The proposal has been decreased in size by 25%, and has had everything modified that can be possibly imagined (and is
still practical and financially feasible).
Traffic will be limited to the site and access to major traffic arteries.
The downtown merchants are crying for more customers .
The shuttle to downtown will help all Los Gatos citizens, including the nearby high school students who will be voting in
just a few short years.
It is a beautiful and practical complement to Los Gatos.
As a former four term Mayor and City Councilman I see that you are now to the point of approval (which I believe you
should unanimously do on Tuesday evening).
Your alternative is to be sued, an for the "do nothing", in effect, inverse condemnation nature of you decision stall
further and not make needed improvements to the town.
Please have shoe courage and APPROVE this project on Tuesday! It is time to make a positive change to the town!
Thanks,
Don Eaton

I support 405 Alberto .
I am writing to voice my continued support of the 405 Alberto Way project. Having an office in Los Gatos and owning an
apartment comple x here, I feel I h ave a stake in the success of the Los Gatos community. With this in mind, I would
hope this project is approved. My understanding is that the project conforms to both the zoning and the general
plan . In fact, the developers have made compromises that are above and beyond what is required by these
regulations . At this point, it is important that the City stands behind the vision that it has established via its zoning and
general plan. It certainly would not make sense for the Council to oppose the developers that are conforming to City
regulations in an effort to further reward those that are in opposition of the City's zoning and general plan. Otherwise,
the City would be signaling that it has no clear direction moving forward and certainly no commitment to any direction.
Thank you for taking the time to consider these thoughts,
Mark Nicholson

Subject : Alberto Way Appeal Tonight
Please respect the decisions of the Planning Commission in regards to this item on
tonight's agenda. Their deliberations and public comments, in totality since this project
was first introduced, have been thorough, thoughtful, and responsible. This, and prior
decisions on this matter by the Commission, are consistent and faithfully compliant with
our General Plan.
Also, please respect and comply with the parameters of "new information" in connection
with an appeal -set forth and endorsed in your recent Study Session on such issues -
which were NOT complied with, by some of you, in connection with the prior appeal on
this project. The safety of many constituents is at severe risk -including anyone using
Hwy 9 and the 9/17 interchange -a central, already over-congested, area of Town that
simply has NO CAPACITY for impacts from this project.
Also, the "shuttle" is a joke as to relieving any such impact -and entirely unenforceable.

Alberto Way Project -Vote NO
You have heard all the arguments, so I won't trouble you with repeating them again . You have
visited the site so I won 't waste your time describing what is and what will be if this project goes
forward . And you are a part of this community, so I don't have to remind you of what it means to
live and work in Los Gatos .
Please vote NO! This project is NOT the right fit for Alberto Way.
Thank you so much for your continued service and sacrifice for the people and businesses you
serve in our beautiful gem town called Los Gatos!
I will see you tonight.
Warmly,
JoAn Smith

405 Alberto Way
I have been following this project for most of it's applications and hearing processes and am amazed at the comments
coming from the planning department at their latest hearing, mainly in reference to the view corridor of the hill s and
building sizing, location and massing.
This developer is within all the guidelines of the sites zoning and is on the 3rd rede sign of the project with around a
25 % reduction in size from the
original submittal. Design by committee does not work.
The neighbors comp lain about the commercial project and it's added traffic, but at the ended of the day there isn't that
much added traffic and it's always been a commercial project at that location . I do not believe that this development is
asking for any variances on trip counts, if anything they
are benefiting the traffic flow of that area with the proposal.
I have many other comments around the process that this developer and other projects have been through and am
open for discussion with any
members of the council or town staff if they wish .
I ask that you overturn the planning commission and approve this project.
Sincerely
Terry
