Attachment 11 RESOLUTION 2018- RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AUTHORIZING CAL FIRE GRANT AGREEMENT AND INVOICING SIGNATORIES WHEREAS, on June 19, 2018, the Town Council authorized the Town Manager to execute an agreement for consultant services with Mintier Harnish Planning Consultants for preparation of the General Plan update and EIR. An agreement was executed on July 9, 2018 ; and WHEREAS, on June 6, 2018, staff submitted a grant application to the State of California, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, as part of their Fire Prevention Grant Program ; and WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) has awarded to the Town of Los Gatos a grant in the amount of $124,153 to update the Safety Element of the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does herby authorize the Town Manager to approve, sign, and execute the agreement on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos does hereby authorize the Community Development Director to sign and execute invoices on behalf of the Town of Los Gatos.
