A RESOLUTION COMMENDING LESTER (RANDY) ATTAWAY
FOR HIS SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE
PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, Randy Attaway served as a member of the Planning Commission since September 14, 1988;
and
WHEREAS, during this period he unselfishly contributed his time, energies and capabilities to both the
Commission and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service deserves special recognition;
WHEREAS, he has given his time to advance the planning process within the Town; and,
WHEREAS, during his tenure Randy assisted the Planning Commission in the following major studies
and projects:
a. Architectural Standards Committee
b. Maria's Berry Farm Relocation Committee
c. Seismic Safety Committee
d. Zoning Ordinance amendments covering:
(1) Floor Area Ratio in Residential Zones
(2) Second story additions
(3) Traffic Policy revisions
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby render, with
genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to Randy Attaway for his service to the Town and its
citizens as a member of the Planning Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting held
this 17th day of December 1990, by the following vote:
