RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING SUSANNE WILSON FOR HER SERVICE
ON THE SANTA CLARA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
WHEREAS, on December 31, 1990 SUSANNE WILSON will be retiring from
the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS, SUSANNE WILSON has a distinguished background in public
service, part of which includes:
° Elected to three, four -year terms as a member of the Board
of Supervisors
Elected to three, four -year terms as a member of the City of
San Jose Council, and elected Vice -Mayor during 1977 -78
WHEREAS, SUSANNE WILSON has been serving the residents of this
community not only through her term as Supervisor, but has also unselfishly contributed
her time, energies and capabilities to numerous committees and boards, including but not
limited to:
- Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG)
Executive Board, Past President
- Audit Committee Chairperson
- Bay Area Air Quality Management District,
Chairperson
- Transportation 2000 Chairperson
- CalTrain Joint Powers Board, Chairperson
- County Toxics Oversight Committee

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council
feels that such outstanding public service deserves special recognition, and would like to
commend SUSANNE WILSON for her many years of dedicated and loyal service to the
residents of Santa Clara County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 5th day of NOVEMBER, 1990 by the following
vote:
