RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF INTENTION TO FORM A LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING
DISTRICT WITHIN THE BOUNDS OF TRACT 8306
LOCATED AT 15385 NATIONAL AVENUE
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. It is the intention of the Town Council to form, under the provisions of the
Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, a Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District
within the bounds of Tract 8306, located at 15385 National Avenue.
2. This District will levy and collect funds necessary to publicly maintain the median
island landscaping and irrigation system to be installed within Blackwell Drive by the
developer of Tract 8306.
3. This assessment district shall be known as "Landscaping and Lighting Assessment
District No. 1," Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, California.
4. In accordance with the Town Council's resolution initiating proceedings, the Town
Engineer has filed with the Town Clerk the Engineer's report required by the Landscaping
and Lighting Act of 1972. All interested persons are invited to review that report for a full
and detailed description of the improvements, the boundaries of the assessment district and
the proposed assessments to be levied upon assessable parcels of land within the assessment
district.
5. On October 15, 1990, in the Council Chambers of the Civic Center, 110 E. Main
Street, Los Gatos, California, the Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider
whether or not to institute the Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District No. 1. The
meeting will begin at 7:30 PM. All persons interested are invited to attend and be heard.
6. The Town Clerk is authorized, and is hereby directed to publish a copy of this
resolution in a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in the Town of
Los Gatos, within fifteen (15) days after the date of its adoption.

Gatos held on the lst day of October, 1990 by the following vote:
