RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING ARGO GHERARDI
WHEREAS, Argo Gherardi served as a member of the Planning Commission since
August 6, 1984; and
WHEREAS, during this period he unselfishly contributed his time, energies
and capabilities to both the Commission and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition;
WHEREAS, he has given his time to advance the planning process within the Town; and,
WHEREAS, during his tenure John assisted the Planning Commission in the following major studies
and projects:
a. Floor Area Ratio and Design Standards for Residential Areas
b. Design Standards for the C -2 Zone
C. Served on and chaired the Architectural Standards Committee and served on the Historical
Preservation Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby render, with
genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to Argo Gherardi for his service to the Town and its
citizens as a member of the Planning Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular meeting held
this 20th day of August 1990, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Eric D. Carlson, Robert L. Hamilton,
Brent N. Ventura, and Mayor Thomas J. Ferrito
