RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS ADOPTING THE DRAFT
OF THE RELOCATION PLAN FOR THE VILLA AVENUE RESIDENTS
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 7260 et. seq. (Relocation
Assistance) and the Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Guidelines, 25
California Code of Regulations Section 6000 et. seq., require a public entity to adopt a
Relocation Plan setting forth the process of relocating displaced persons and families; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos has prepared a Relocation Plan in accordance
with the California Government Code and the Relocation Assistance and Real Property
Acquisition Guidelines, setting forth the process of relocating the Villa Avenue residents
who will be displaced as a result of the new library project to be constructed on Villa
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the draft Relocation Plan will be distributed to the displaced residents,
the Department of Housing and Community Development and available to the public for
a thirty (30) day comment period; and
WHEREAS, the final Relocation Plan is scheduled to be considered for adoption by
the Town Council on September 17, 1990.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town of Los Gatos does hereby
approve and adopt the draft of the 'Relocation Plan Library Project" in the form attached
hereto as Exhibit A and by this reference made a part hereof and does authorize the
distribution of the draft plan for comment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 6th day of August, 1990 by the following vote.
