RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 1988 -217
REGARDING THE MUSEUM COMMISSION ENABLING RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Museum Commission was established as an advisory body
to the Town Council on April 21, 1986; through Resolution 1986 -53; and
WHEREAS, the enabling resolution was amended and replaced first by
Resolution 1988 -148 and then Resolution 1988 -217; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council voted, on July 16, 1990 to allocate funds
for operation of the museums to the Los Gatos Museum Association; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council also voted to disband the Museum
Commission;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council hereby
rescinds the Los Gatos Museum Commission Enabling Resolution No. 1988 -217 titled,
"A Town of Los Gatos Resolution Amending the Museum Commission Enabling
Resolution No. 1988- 148."
