RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING CHIEF INSPECTOR GENE CAMPBELL
FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE TOWN
WHEREAS, CHIEF INSPECTOR, GENE CAMPBELL, since May 1, 1979 served the
Town of Los Gatos as an Engineering Technician III (1979- 1983), Supervising Engineering
Inspector (1983- 1986), and Chief Inspector (1986- 1990); and
and
WHEREAS, he has fulfilled the requirements of these positions faithfully and well;
WHEREAS, during his 11 years with the Town, he has made many friends in the
work place, and throughout the Town through his participation in Public Works and service
to the residents of the Town; and
WHEREAS, this dedication to the Town of Los Gatos for eleven years culminated
with Gene's retirement on June 29, 1990;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Los Gatos Town Council that Chief
Inspector Gene Campbell be commended for his many contributions to the Engineering
Department over the past eleven years, and for his dedicated and loyal service to the
residents of the Town;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council does hereby extend to Gene
Campbell its deepest appreciation for service faithfully and excellently rendered, and its
sincere hope that his retirement from the service of the Town of Los Gatos is one of
satisfaction and fulfillment.
