RESOLUTION PROCLAIMING TERMINATION OF THE
EXISTENCE OF A LOCAL EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, a local emergency existed in the Town of Los Gatos in accordance with
the proclamation thereof by the Town Manager on the 17th day of October, 1989, and its
ratification by the Town Council on the 3rd day of November, 1989;
WHEREAS, conditions of extreme peril to the safety of persons and property did
arise within the Town as Los Gatos caused by an earthquake commencing at or about 5:04
p.m. on the 17th day of October, 1989; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now
deemed to be within the control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment,
and facilities of and within said Town of Los Gatos.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Town of Los Gatos in the County of Santa Clara, State
of California does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 2nd day of JULY, 1990 by the following vote.
