RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS APPROVING THE PROGRAM
SUPPLEMENT NO 005 TO LOCAL AGENCY - STATE AGREEMENT NO. 04 -5067
FOR FEDERAL AID PROJECT ON FAU STREETS AND
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR
PROJECT 8904 - ANNUAL SIDEWALK RECONSTRUCTION /EMERGENCY
EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE REPAIRS ON FAU DESIGNATED ROUTE
WHEREAS, the October 17, 1989 earthquake damaged FAU designated route
streets creating an emergency situation; and
WHEREAS, Program Supplement No. 005 to Local Agency - State Agreement No.
04 -5067 for funding of Federal Aid Project on FAU streets provides for the
emergency repair of such identified damage; and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos
to construct Project 8904 - Annual Sidewalk Reconstruction /Emergency Earthquake
Damage Repairs on FAU route; and
WHEREAS, the Town Engineer has presented Plans and Specifications for the
installation of Project 8904 - Annual Sidewalk Reconstruction /EmeYVenry
Earthquake Damage repairs on FAU designated Route;
IT IS RESOLVED, that the Council approves the Program and authorizes its
execution; and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Town Engineer is hereby authorized and directed
to solicit the receipt of sealed bids or proposals for the doing of the work
specified in the aforesaid Plans and Specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a
meeting held this 5th day of February, 1990, by the following vote:
