RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS AMENDING
RESOLUTIONS NO. 1983 -76, 1985 -7, 1986 -32 and 1989 -186
REGARDING DEPOSIT FOR SPECIAL EVENT AND REPLACEMENT PASSES
FOR PREFERENTIAL PARKING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
WHEREAS, the Town Council desires more efficient and effective procedures to
assist Town Residences; and
WHEREAS, the Preferential Parking Districts have expended since 1983; and
WHEREAS, the Preferential Resident Parking Policies and Procedures will provide
a clearer understanding and better service for Residents residing in the Preferential Parking
Districts; and
WHEREAS, the new application forms will more accurately assist in identifying
concerns; and
WHEREAS, it is reasonable to expect some cost recovery for the Preferential Parking
Districts; and
WHEREAS, the SPECIAL EVENT PASSES and LOST PASSES are the most
expensive and difficult to monitor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos hereby AMENDS ITEM 2 -C of RESOLUTIONS 1983 -76, RESOLUTIONS 1985-
7, RESOLUTION 1986 -32 and RESOLUTION 1989 -186 and ADDS ITEM 2 -1) to read as
follows:
2. PERMITS
C. Resident owners may apply for temporary visitor
parking permits for special events. There shall be
a NON - REFUNDABLE deposit of Five dollars
($5.00) for the first permit and One dollar for
each additional special event permit issued.
d. A Five dollar ($5.00) fee will be charged to
replace lost visitor permit(s). Damaged visitor
permit(s) will be replaced free of charge if the
damaged permit is returned to the Clerk's Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 6th day of November, 1989 by the following vote:
