RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING EMERALD HATHAWAY
OF THE LOS GATOS ARTS COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Emerald Hathaway has served the Town of Los Gatos as a
commission member of the Town's Arts Commission since 1987; and,
WHEREAS, during this period, she has unselfishly contributed her
time, energies and capabilities to both the Arts Commission and the community,
and has assisted the Commission on special projects including, but not limited
to the following:
1. Implementing the Arts Commission's Master Plan for the Arts;
2. Fundraising, Financial Planning and Implementation of the 1988 and
1989 Music in the Plaza Series;
3. Research and Work on the Arts Commission's Information Brochure.
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Los Gatos Town Council does
hereby render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to
Emerald Hathaway for her service to the Town and its citizens as a commission
member of the Town's Arts Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 18th day of September, 1989 by the
following vote.
