RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS REMANDING TO
THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND THE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW
COMMITTEE THE APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION DENIAL
OF REQUEST FOR A CHANGE IN ZONE FROM R -1:8 (PRE- ZONED)
TO R- 1:8 -PD TO CONSTRUCT A FIVE -UNIT RESIDENTIAL
DEVELOPMENT ON 1.094 ACRES
(16055 LOS GATOS - ALMADEN ROAD - DAVID R. GOODWIN)
WHEREAS:
1. Rodger W. Griffin, on behalf of the applicant, has appealed a decision of the
Planning Commission as follows: denial of a request for a change in zone from R -1:8 (pre -
zoned) to R- 1:8 -PD to construct a five -unit residential development on 1.094 acres and
located at 16055 Los Gatos - Almaden Road and owned by David R. Goodwin (Zone
Change Application Z- 87 -4); and
2. A public hearing was held by the Town Council on August 7, 1989.
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Town Council hereby finds that the applicant desires to return to the
Development Review Committee.
2. Based on the foregoing finding, the appeal and Zone Change Application
Z -87 -4 are hereby remanded to the Planning Commission and the Development Review
Committee and fees are hereby waived.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 21st day of AUGUST, 1989 by the following vote.
