RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING CALADORA BROWN
OF THE LOS GATOS MUSEUM COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Caladora Brown has served the Town of Los Gatos as a commission
member of the Town's Museum Commission since 1986; and,
WHEREAS, during this period, she has unselfishly contributed her time,
energies and capabilities to both the Museum Commission and the community, and
has assisted the Commission on special projects including, but not limited to
the following:
1. Writing and Implementation of the Museum's Plan;
2. Fundraising Planning and Implementation;
3. Membership Development and Service on the Museum's Board of
Directors;
4. Coordination of Projects Between the Museum Commission and the Museum
Association Board; and
5. Writing of a New Lease /Operating Agreement Between the Town of Los
Gatos, the Museum Commission and the Los Gatos Museum Association.
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Los Gatos Town Council does
hereby render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to
Caladora Brown for her service to the Town and its citizens as a commission
member of the Town's Museum Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Los Gatos, California, held on the 15th day of MAY, 1989, by the following
vote:
