A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF LOS GATOS CONCERNING ESTABLISHING PROCEDURES
FOR REZONING PROPERTY SUBJECT TO WILLIAMSON ACT CONTRACT
RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, State of California,
as follows:
When a Zone change Application is filed for property that is or has been
subject to the provisions of a Williamson Act Contract, a General Plan
Amendment /Hillside Specific Plan Amendment shall be initiated by the Town. The
procedure for amending the General Plan /Hillside Specific Plan is as follows:
1. The General Plan Committee shall review the Zone Change Application
and provide the Planning Commission with a recommendation regarding
the General Plan /Hillside Specific Plan Amendment.
2. The Planning Commission shall conduct a public hearing and provide the
Town Council with a recommendation regarding the General Plan /Hillside
Specific Plan Amendment and Zone change.
3. The Town Council shall conduct a public hearing and either approve or
deny the General Plan /Hillside Specific Plan Amendment and Zone
Change.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the town of Los Gatos at
a regular meeting held this 5th day of December , 1988
