A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL
MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD
NOVEMBER 8, 1988
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held in the Town
of Los Gatos on Tuesday, the 8th day of November, 1988, and was
conducted in form and manner as required by the law of the State of
California governing the elections of General Law Cities.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the total number of registered
voters was 19035 The total number of votes cast was 14813
including absentee ballots for
two (2) Council members
one (1) Town Clerk
one (1) Town Treasurer
That the names of the persons voted for, the offices for
which they were voted, and the number of votes received by each of
said persons in each of said precincts, together with the absentee
votes, together with the whole number of votes which they received
in the entire Town of Los Gatos are as follows:

RESOLVED, therefore, that at the said general municipal election
held in the Town of Los Gatos, November 8, 1988 the following persons
were elected to the following offices respectively:
Eric D. Carlson and Brent N. Ventura were elected members
of the Town council for the full term of four years. Marian V. Cosgrove
was elected Town Clerk for the full term of four years, and Joan E.
Schreiner was elected Town Treasurer for the full term of four years.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Clerk shall enter upon the records
of this Council the results of said General Municipal election and
shall deliver to each person elected a Certificate of Election duly
signed and authenticated by her and she shall impose the constitutional
oath and have them subscribe thereon, whereupon, they shall be inducted
to the respective offices to which they have been elected.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Town Council an the 5th day of DFrpmhpr , 1988, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Thomas J Ferrito Robert I.
Hamilton and Mayor lcannp Reniamin
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS None
ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS Eric D Carlton and Brent N
