RESOLUTION DENYING APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION DENIAL
OF REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF PLANS TO RESTRIPE AND REVISE
AN EXISTING PARKING LOT IN THE HR -2 -1/2 ZONE
(16845 HICKS ROAD - LOS GATOS CHRISTIAN CHURCH)
WHEREAS:
1. Bruce William, on behalf of Los Gatos Christian Church, has
filed an appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission as follows:
denial of Architecture and Site Application S -73 -1140 requesting approval
of plans to restripe and revise an existing parking lot in the HR -2 -1/2
zone located at 16845 Hicks Road and owned by Los Gatos Christian Church;
and

2. A public hearing was held by the Town Council on October 3,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Town Council hereby finds that the applicant wishes to
withdraw the request as to modification of the parking lot and wishes to
have the application remanded to the Development Review Committee for
discussion of traffic circulation improvements.
2. The Town Council hereby further finds that the applicant has
expressed a co- operative attitude to work with the neighbors and that
further discussions should be beneficial in addressing a long- existing
traffic circulation problem.
3. Based on the foregoing findings, the Town Council hereby
denies the application as to the parking lot and remands the issue of
traffic circulation to the Planning Commission and for consideration by
the Development Review Committee.
Pursuant to Los Gatos Town Code Section 1 -15, the time for seeking
judicial review for the Town Council decision is governed by California
Code of Civil Procedure Section 1094.6.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7th day of November
1988 by the following vote.
