A TOWN OF LOS GATOS RESOLUTION
COMMENDING MIKE ABKIN OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, MIKE ABKIN has served the Town of Los Gatos as a member of the Town's
Community Services Commission since September, 1984; and
WHEREAS, during this period, he has unselfishly contributed his time, energies
and capabilities to both the Community Services Commission and the community, and
has assisted the commission on special projects including, but not limited to the
following:
° Chair of Community Services Commission, 1986;
Chair of Housing Sub - Committee;
Member of Child -Care, Goals, and Earthquake Preparedness Project
Sub - Committees; and,
° Representative on Below Market Price Housing and Route 85 Committees.
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service deserves
special recognition;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby
render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to MIKE ABKIN for
his service to the Town and its citizens as a Commission member of the Town's
Community Services Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, at
a regular meeting held this 19 day of September, 1988, by the following vote:
