A RESOLUTION COMMENDING SAM E. LAUB
WHEREAS, Sam E. Laub served as a member of the Planning Commission since
March 19, 1979 and
WHEREAS, during this period he unselfishly contributed his time, energies
and capabilities to both the Commission and the community; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service
deserves special recognition;
WHEREAS, he has given his time to advance the planning process within the
Town; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Sam assisted the Planning Commission in the
following major studies and projects:
a. Adoption of the General Plan
b. Adoption of the Downtown Specific Plan
c. Implementation of the General Plan and Downtown Specific Plan
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby
render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to Sam E.
Laub for his service to the Town and its citizens as a member of the Planning
Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a
regular meeting held this 1st day of August 1988 by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Thomas J. Ferrito, Robert L. Hamilton,
Brent N. Ventura, and Vice -Mayor Joanne Benjamin
