RESOLUTION APPOINTING JOAN E. SCHREINER AS TOWN TREASURER
TOWN OF LOS GATOS, COUNTY OF SANTA CLARA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
RECITALS:
(a) On November 6, 1984, Nogah Bethlahmy was elected for a four
year term as Town Treasurer, Town of Los Gatos, County of
Santa Clara, State of California;
(b) On May 9, 1988, Nogah Bethlahmy submitted his resignation
as Town Treasurer, effective as of midnight May 8, 1988;
(c) The Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos accepted said
resignation;
(d) On June 6, 1988 the Town Council interviewed five candidates
for the position of Treasurer and appointed Joan E. Schreiner;
and
(e) Pursuant to the provisions of Section 36512 of the Government
Code of the State of California, confirms the filling of said
vacancy by appointment.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED, that Joan E. Schreiner was appointed Town
Treasurer of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
to fill the vacancy created by said resignation, effective as of June 6, 1988,
and upon her taking the oath of office, as required by law, and upon her
executing a faithful performance bond to the Town of Los Gatos conforming to the
provision of the Government Code of the State of California relating to bonds of
public officers, in the penal sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00).
Said person so appointed shall hold office for the unexpired term of Nogah Bethlahmy.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 20 day of June , 1988 by the following
vote:
