1988-125-Approving The Tanner Program Funding FormulaRESOLUTION NO. 1988 -125 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TANNER PROGRAM FUNDING FORMULA WHEREAS, the Tanner Program is a State mandate to formalize a plan for the disposal of hazardous materials; and WHEREAS, there remains an unmet need of $100,000 to complete the Tanner Program; and WHEREAS, the potential for the County receiving $50,000 from the State by virtue of AB 3205 (Tanner) appears excellent; and WHEREAS, in order to generate the $50,000 necessary to complete the Tanner Program, each of the 16 jurisdictions in the County will contribute $1,600 which will provide $25,600, or approximately half of the $50,000 required; and WHEREAS, the remaining $24,400 to be allocated to each jurisdiction on the basis of the quantity of hazardous waste generated. NOW, THEREFORE, Town Council approves the Town's share of this cost as an appropriation of $1, 770. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 6 day of June 1988 by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Thomas J.
