A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING CAROLYN MONIZ OF THE COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Carolyn Moniz served as a member of the Community Services Commission
since January 7, 1985; and,
WHEREAS, during this period she has unselfishly contributed her time, energies,
and capabilities to both the Commission and the community; and,
WHEREAS, during her tenure, Ms. Moniz assisted the Community Services Commission
in numerous projects, including, but riot limited to the following:
1. Chair of the Child Care Sub - Committee;
2, Member of the Human Service Agency Funding Application Committee;
3. Member of the Earthquake Preparedness Project Sub - Committee.
WHEREAS, the Town Council feels that such outstanding public service deserves
special recognition,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Los Gatos Town Council does hereby
render, with genuine appreciation, its gratitude and commendation to Carolyn Moniz
for her service to the Town and its citizens as a member of the Community Services
Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos at a regular
meeting held this 4 day of April , 1988 by the following vote:

N. Ventura and Mayor Vice -Mayor Joanne Benjamin
