RESOLUTION REMANDING APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION
DENIAL OF REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF PLANS TO REMODEL AND
EXPAND AN EXISTING COMMERCIAL BUILDING IN THE C -2 ZONE
(151 NORTH SANTA CRUZ AVENUE - JOHN L. SCOTT)
WHEREAS:
1. John L. Scott has appealed a decision of the Planning
Commission as follows: Denial of request for approval of plans to remodel
and expand an existing commercial building in the C -2 Zone on property
located at 151 North Santa Cruz Avenue and owned by John L. Scott
(Architecture and Site Application S- 78 -38); and
2. A public hearing was held by the Town Council on December 7,
1987 at which time the Council decided to deny the appeal. On December
21, 1987 the Town Council voted to reconsider its decision on the appeal
and set the public hearing on the appeal for February 16, 1988, on which
date a public hearing was held by the Town Council.
BE IT RESOLVED:
1. The Town Council hereby finds that neither the appellant nor
his attorney appeared at the Planning Commission meeting on October 14,
1987 to be heard on this application.
2. Based on the foregoing finding, the Town Council hereby
remands the appeal to the Planning Commission for consideration.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 7 day of March
_1,988 by the following vote.
