1988-043-Denial Of General Plan Amendment GP-97-3 To The Los Gatos General Plan Concerning Use Of Property Located On The West Side Of Miles AvenueRESOLUTION NO: 1988 -43 RESOLUTION REMANDING APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION DENIAL OF GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT GP -87-3 TO THE LOS GATOS GENERAL PLAN CONCERNING USE OF PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF MILES AVENUE, ADJACENT TO AND NORTH OF THE TOWN CORPORATION YARD FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO SERVICE COMMERCIAL (MILES AVENUE GP AMENDMENT - H. EUGENE SMITH) WHEREAS: 1. H. Eugene Smith has filed an appeal of a decision of the Planning Commission as follows: Denial of General Plan Amendment GP -87-3 to the Los Gatos General Plan concerning the use of property located on the west side of Miles Avenue, adjacent to and north of the Town Corporation Yard from medium Density Residential to Service Commercial said property owned by H. Eugene Smith; and 2. A public hearing was set by the Town Council on November 2, 1987, continued to January 4, 1988, and continued to and held on February BE IT RESOLVED: 1. The Town Council hereby finds that the Planning Commission should reconsider the General Plan Land Use designation for the Miles Avenue Basin Area and set traffic caps on each property. 2. Based on the foregoing finding, the Town Council hereby remands the appeal to the Planning Commission for reconsideration of the General Plan Land Use designation for the Miles Avenue Basin Area and set traffic caps for each property.
