RESOLUTION CREATING AN EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the purpose of an Employee Recognition Program is to provide a
mechanism by which employees will be identified and recognized for public
service, and;
WHEREAS, employee recognition has a positive effect on productivity and
morale, and;
WHEREAS, it is important to unifornally recognize and acknowledge
individual employee achievement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town of Los Gatos does hereby
create an Employees' Recognition Program as described in the Employee
Recognition Committee's recommendation report of June 4, 1987.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 21 day
of September , 1987 by the following vote.
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS Joanne Benjamin, Eric D. Carlson,
Thomas J. Ferrito, Robert L. Hamilton, & Mayor Brent N. Ventura
