A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
COMMENDING CAROL BJORKMAN
WHEREAS, The Eighteenth Annual Teacher Recognition Day will be held on Sunday,
October 4, 1987; and
WHEREAS, education is essential in the development of our young people as
knowledgeable, contributing members of society; and
WHEREAS, Carol Bjorkman a teacher at Loma Prieta School, was chosen to receive
an award on that day for her dedication in enhancing the learning experience of our
young people; and
WHEREAS, this event was established by Mr. Frank Lowe and Mr. Sam Della Maggiore
for the purpose of honoring teachers of Santa Clara County for their excellence in
presenting education to our children; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of Los Gatos feels that such outstanding services
deserves special recognition.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS do deem it appropriate
and do hereby commend Carol Bjorkman as one of the teachers selected this year to be
honored for overall excellence in fulfilling the aims and objectives of Teacher
Recognition Day.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Los Gatos, California, held on the 3rd day of August 1987
by the following vote:
