A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS ROBIE LANE NO. 1
TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara,
State of Los Gatos, County of Santa Clara, State of California that
WHEREAS, the proposed annexation to the Town of Los Gatos consisting of all that
unincorporated territory designated as ROBIE LANE NO. 1 Annexation, located along
Robie Lane in the County of Santa Clara is proposed for annexation to the Town of
Los Gatos pursuant to Part 2 of Title 4, Division 3, commencing with Section 56000
et seq. of the Government Code;
WHEREAS, the Town of Los Gatos has received a petition signed by all the owners
of land within the territory to be annexed, and pursuant to Section 56837 of the
Government Code, the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos may initiate proceedings
to annex said territory without notice, hearing or election, in the manner described
in Section 57002 of the Government Code of the State of California, and make the
following findings:
1. The project is categorically exempt from CEQA Class #15119(a).
2. The territory is "Uninhabited" as defined in Section 56046 of the
Government Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that these findings are correct, and the
territory proposed for annexation is situated in the unincorporated area of the
County of Santa Clara, and is contiguous with the municipal boundaries of the Town
of Los Gatos.
RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Los Gatos, a municipal corporation
of the County of Santa Clara, State of California, that pursuant to the provisions
of Sections 56837, and 57002 of the Government Code of the State of California, the
annexation to the Town of Los Gatos of that territory designated as ROME LANE NO.
1, and described in real property description and map attached hereto, marked
Exhibits "A" and "B ", respectively, is approved, and that the same be annexed to the
town of Los Gatos.
FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon completion of these annexation proceedings the
territory annexed will be taxed in Town of Los Gatos Tax Rate A, including taxes for
existing bonded indebtedness.
FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Town Clerk is authorized, and is hereby directed,
pursuant to Section 57200 of the Government Code, to prepare under seal a certified
copy of this resolution, giving the date of passage, and immediately transmit same
along with a remittance to cover the fees required by Section 54902.5 of the
Government Code to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission of
Santa Clara County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Los
Gatos held on 20th day of July , 1987 by the following vote:

TO THE TOWN OF LOS GATOS
All that certain real property situated in the State of California, County
of Santa Clara:
Being a portion of Lot 12, Fairview Homes Subdivision, filed on June 24,
1907, in Book L of Maps, Page 25, Santa Clara County Records, more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe set on the Northwestern line of Robie
Lane at the most Eastern corner of Lot 12 as shown on the Map of
Tract No. 559, Spotswood Tract, filed on October 18, 1948 in Book
20 of Maps, Pages 34 and 35, Santa Clara County Records; thence
the following courses and distances:
1. N 20° 43' 30" E along said Northwestern line of Robie Lane a
distance of 65 feet to the most Southern line of Shannon
Avenue #15 Annexation to the Town of Los Gatos;
2. N 78° 43' W along said most Southern line of Shannon Avenue
#15 Annexation a distance of 135.24 feet to the Eastern line
of Northeast #8 Annexation to the Town of Los Gatos;
3. S 20" 43' 30" W along said Eastern line of Northeast #8
Annexation a distance of 65 feet to the Northern line of
said Lot 12, Tract 559 or its prolongation;
4. S 78° 43' E along the Northern line of said Lot 12, Tract
559 a distance of 135.24 feet to the POINVOF BEGINNING.
