RESOLUTION GRANTING APPEAL OF PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVAL OF "ALTERNATE B" FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
A BELL TOWER WITHIN THE TOWN PLAZA IN THE C -2 ZONE
(Town Plaza - John Spaur)
WHEREAS:
1. John Spaur has appealed a decision of the Planning Commission as
follows: approval of "Alternate B" for the construction of a bell tower within
the Town Plaza in the C -2 Zone (Conditional Use Permit U -77 -28 and Architecture
and Site Application S- 77 -11B).
2. A public hearing was held by the Town Council on June 15, 1987,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. The Town Council hereby finds that the appellant presented a plan
(denominated A -1) which was not presented to the Planning Commission but which
met the concerns of the Planning Commission as follows:
a. deletion of the platform and wall and
b. reduction of the intrusion into the turf area.
2. Based on the foregoing finding, the appeal is granted to approve Plan A -1.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Los Gatos, California, held on the 6th day of July 1987 by the
following vote:
